The girl group phenomenon has taken America by storm. Hoping to be the next Destiny's Child is Gyrlz Society, which is expected to break out onto the music scene this month with the release of its debut single.

The group comprises girls from all over the country, and one of them is a New Bedford native, Tynisha Soares.

Tynisha started working with Scott Ross, former manager for Devin Lima of pop group LFO, when she was Since then Tynisha, the daughter of Elisa Soares of New Bedford, has been pursuing her dreams of stardom.

Her persistence led to success when she and co-members Mellissa Tessmer, Katy Scanlan and Amy Correa signed a recording contract with MCA Records.

Bringing talent into the spotlight is something that Scott Ross did with Devin Lima and Tynisha, and hopes to continue to do.
