Tukaram, commonly known as Sant Tukaram was a spiritual poet and saint who lived in 16^th century. Tukaram was born in the year and lived most of his life in Dehu near Pune.

Sant Tukaram is generally regarded as one of the great saints of the Bhakti Movement in India. Though it’s widely regarded that he was born on , historians have other opinions too – like , , and CE. Tukaram was a devotee of Vitthala, a form of Lord Vishnu.
