Post-mortem report reveals dozen injury marks on slain UP cop's body
The post-mortem examination report of the DSP,Zia-ul-Haq, has revealed a dozen injury marks, including a bullet injury, while the wife of theslain officerhas rejected the report claiming that her husband was shot three bullets.
"According to the post-mortem report, there were 12 injury marks, including lacerated wound, abrasion and entry and exit bullet mark," IG Law and Order Rajkumar Vishwakarma told reporters in Lucknow.
He said that the bullet injury was on the midline on the back of chest with exit on the right of the chest.
On the question of Haq's wife demand for a second autopsy, the IG said it depends on the investigating officer and that the permission of the court was needed.
Parveen Azad, wife of the slain officer, has said she saw several bullet wounds on her husband's body.
